PT. BBP and the Pacific Ring Group have been working with the door management team at WIA  since its inception - with relationships of personnel spanning over a decade - supplying the UK with fire rated and thermally efficient timber door cores.

Based in Indonesia, this is the only country currently with a VPA agreement with the EU & UK and FLEGT Licensing covering all shipments to the UK. Their timber supply chains are regulated to ensure harvesting practices are legal, encourage sustainable harvesting practices and support global forest governance.

PT. BBP primarily (but not exclusively) work with Albasia Falcata. This timber is one of the major successes of the Indonesian Timber Trade, being a sustainable timber that is given freely by PT. BBP and other mills to local land owners/farmers and bought back by the mills at market levels 4 to 7 years after planting. Albasia Falcata makes an ideal component of fire and thermally efficient door products..
